External deburring and chamfer tool · for bolts and threaded rod

Clean edges and threads that start true.

Cutting a bolt or threaded rod to length leaves a rough end. Put this head in your drill, press it over the end for a moment, and three steel blades strip the burr and cut a neat chamfer all the way around, so the first thread is clean and the nut spins straight on.

It suits shortened bolts, all-thread rod, screws, round bar and the cut ends of small pipe and tube. One tool for the whole job.

How it works

Three blades, one quick pass.

Inside the cone, three steel blades sit at an angle. As the head spins over the rod end, they trim the burr and cut an even chamfer all the way around in seconds.

Clamp the work, wear safety glasses, run the drill at a moderate speed and press lightly and straight. Check the end and give it another touch if the burr is heavy.
